Yummy Roasted Potatoes

Who doesn't love a delicious roasted potato?! I know I do!! This is super easy!! Just throw everything together and walk away type recipe. It's perfect when you need something comforting, filling, and just all-around a side dish everyone will love. I prefer yellow potatoes with this, but you can use whatever potato you like. But keep in mind the softer the potato, the quicker it's going to cook. I also love to use the 21 seasoning salute from Trader Joe's. However, if you do not have this, you can literally make your own by throwing some savory seasonings together such as onion powder, black pepper, garlic powder, rosemary, oregano, and a little bit of thyme. But if you can grab this 21 seasoning, I highly recommend it. I'm not sponsored. I don't get anything back from my recipes, so when I recommend something, it's because I truly love it.
Servings: 6 servings
Prep Time: 25 minutes

Total Time: 1 hour 20 minutes [based on our technique; may vary]
Ingredients
2 tablespoons 21 salute seasoning [homemade or Trader Joe's works]
5 golden yellow potatoes [or whatever kind you like]
1 tablespoon (smoked) paprika
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 stick butter
1 tablespoon sea salt
1 tablespoon cracked black pepper
2 tablespoons (chopped, fresh) garlic
Instructions
1. If you wanna make things really simple, grab yourself a throwaway baking dish. There'll be little mess to clean. If you don't have one laying around, just grab yourself a typical lasagna dish. That'll do the trick.
2. Now what I do is... I'll slice up my potatoes in half inch slices as you'll see in the picture. Place them in the dish, pour the olive oil all over them, and use a spoon to mix it all together.
3. Then, I add my fresh garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and 21 salute seasoning. Stir that up real good; make sure everything is coated! Then, slice up your butter in thin strips and stick it in the oven on 400F for 35-40 minutes.
4. After 35-40 minutes, you want to go to the oven, stir your potatoes back up and uncover them. Now bring the temperature up to 450F for another 10-15 minutes or just until your potatoes get a little bit golden brown and crispy. Then you know they're done!! You can also check if they're done by sticking a fork inside them. If it's soft all the way through, the potatoes are done!! Timing may vary since people may use different potatoes and cut them up differently.
